History and development of the company
Discover the key moments in our company’s development that shaped Genset Shop as part of HORUS-ENERGIA.
1984 – Establishment of the HORUS-ENERGIA company
HORUS-ENERGIA was founded in response to the growing demand for reliable energy sources in Poland. The company’s first headquarters was in the owner’s apartment in Warsaw, Gocław.
1989 – Expansion of business
The company was the first in the country to automate a unit that had previously been installed by the company in a hospital in Rabka. The official factory supplier of this unit claimed that unattended operation was impossible.
1991 – First contact and foreign export
First foreign contact – servicing Czech generators in Poland
First export – to the American company Mongol-Emicel, which was building a cashmere processing factory in Mongolia – due to a lack of energy.
1996 – Limited liability company
Re-registering a company from a private business to a limited liability company – this allowed for the development of the company, better cooperation with banks, and the development of cooperation with foreign companies.
2005 – Change of headquarters
The headquarters was moved to a larger, better-equipped location with more space and machinery, where the company operates to this day.
2011 – Development
Additional expansion of the headquarters with a new production hall, including a test stand.
2013 – Development
Significant increase in export sales, almost 85%, increase in exports and employment.
2015 – 2017 – Projects
Research and development project to develop a new gas control and supply system (mixed) and Research and development project to develop a new gas supply system (port gas injection)
2019
The first 3 hydrogen generators have reached 40,000 operating hours
2021
Order for a 1 MWe trigeneration unit. Research and development project with PGNiG/Orlen to develop a CH4/H2 fuel supply system.
2024
Scania diesel engine conversion completed
